Full Job Description
Tends machine that removes bark (rough exterior of pearl-shell) from back of pearl button blanks, and levels back and face of blanks: Places blanks face-down on conveyor belt that feeds blanks between steel plate and abrasive wheel. Inverts blanks by hand, and repeats operation to level faces. May tend machine that inverts blanks automatically. May insert blank in holder of manually controlled machine and pull on leverage bar to force blank against abrasive wheel.
